Some of you when you thought for some reason last night that thought that your candidate had won. You became very rude in a shocking manner and became very personal with me. The unofficial results from Zodiak Radio Station which the whole country has been following and basis of others to concede defeat or celebrate a win; show that my chosen Candiadte Professor Arthur Peter Mutharika has won the Presidency. Subject of course to confirmation by MEC. This is I believe honour and Privilege for Malawians to give the Prof to lead them to prosperity for the next five years. Now why would I disrespect others just because my candidate has won? Its not patriotic, it shows lack of leadership skills and childishness. We are all Malawians. Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange etc. We chose multiparty democracy and this is what it means. You go to the polls and one person wins and life goes on. I do hope the Leadership of Professor Mutharika unites us as Malawians and not polarises us as was the case of the outgoing leadership. So no dissing or personalisation from me. I dont operate like that. Unless you pick on me then I know how to defend myself (make no mistake about that). To me we are all brothers and sisters with different political religious etc affiliations and thats the beauty of life. Happy weekend as we wait to hear from MEC.
