Some people are confused as to why I smile so much :). I remember vividly someone making the comment saying..when real life hit you..lets see if you still have that smile lol. Well my friends, I know what its like to have people laugh at you. I know what it feels like to not have those around you believe in you. I know what its like to have people smile in your face and turn around, leaving knives in your back. I know what its like to look for that last dollar under your couch, hoping to scrape up enough to pay the bills and buy a little grocery. I know what its like to not think your marriage would make it. I know what its like to feel the sting of betrayal. Ive experienced the love of those that just loved only to get. Ive known what its like to experience loss and experience deep hurts. So....when I smile...its not out of being naive....but Ive grown to understand....that this joy on the inside of me....the world didnt give it...and surely....the world cannot take it away! :) Can I encourage you today....dont allow your circumstances to steal your joy! Live free and love free....in Jesus name! :)
