Some people are longing each year for both Christmas n new year celebration. The feeling is sweet n expectations are always high. Each year as we celebrate birthdays at some point within the year, that as well is awesome. I want to remind us that each birthday or Christmas celebrated is one year closer to our destination here on earth. We all acknowledge the fact that life is short yet most of us forget this and go about living like sheep without shepherd. When I was growing up, I was of the opinion that one can live a perfect life without sin at all. At a point I had to consciously recount my actions each day to make sure that am still SAINTLY. Looking back to those days I have now realized how naive I was and what height of ignorance I attained. There is need for us to make deliberate effort to lead a good life while acknowledging the fact that no doing of ours can earn us righteousness. Christ paid for it all. Our righteousness is like a dirty rag in the sight of God...all your holy holy is very dirty. Moses brought Law but Christ gave us Grace and truth. Do not continue in sin , even saint Paul said ..God forbid. Its a new year so you can start a new life. Whatever sin Satan has continued to accuse your of, Christ paid for it over 2000 years ago. As the east is far away from the west so shall I separate you from your sins. God is interested in you, He loves you so much. Be bold enough to approach His throne of grace, after all He died for sinner not the holy. Christ is our holiness , please come back to Him for is always looking out for you. Be blessed.
