Some people, even close friends have asked me why I post both religious writings and political writings. Having done two health policy fellowships in Washington, and completing my PhD in Old Testament theology: it is first who I am. Secondly our founding forefathers couched all of their political ideologies based on their faith believes as well. If you truly love the LORD you cannot separate the two. As Jesus said render to Caesar what is Caesars, and to God what is God, implying you need to understand and walk and study in both worlds to be successful in winning people to the LORD. I try not to offend people, but I know that the WORD is offensive to the world, and that speaking the political truth, based on the WORD is offensive; but then Christ told us that the world would hate is for spreading the WORD , as it hated Him, so if the world is not questioning you, and you call yourself a Christian, perhaps you should dwell on, and consider the type of Christianity you are portraying to the world. Blessings to those who are willing to stand up and speak the truth regardless of the cost. The one thing I can promise you is you will ultimately be questioned and perhaps rejected by both your friends and family, if so and you do it in love, Praise the LORD and rejoice that you are carrying out the mission of the Father- much love to my friends for all you mean to me!
