Some people say they are passionate about fashion and live vicariously through shopping malls and by attending fashion shows. Got my priorities straight a few years ago to be too busy to invest my time and directions on talent. When you understand the blood sweat and tears that come out of the heart and mind of a designer, When you watch a designer or artist lay it out on the line and be scrutinized by the public, buyers and the world outside their creative space and watch them at times humbled and brought to their knees only to rise above it and become greater than the people who only thought they could dream to know what fashion and artist bleed - THEN and only THEN can you understand the passion of fashion and art combined. Support your local Artist, Musicians, Craftsmen and Designers -- Love them enough to be their critics, to be their confidents, to be their supporters and promoters not just for one moment in time, for for the long haul and when it gets real invest in their talent - buy their creations - promote their talent -- it takes TRUE GRIT to stand with and watch greatness struggle and become progress for the long haul!
