Some people who wear uniforms are heroes some are not. I once wore a uniform -- it certainly didnt make me a hero -- and especially not just because I was born on a certain piece of dirt. If I was born in China or North Korea and wore a uniform would I have no longer been a hero? How about Germans? Heroes now because they are our allies but 75 years ago not so much? Its popular to say things like all people born in this certain country who serve the State are heroes but it doesnt stand up to logical scrutiny. It is basically saying that our politicians are so much better than the rest of the world that everyone from our piece of dirt is a hero automatically and completely because they follow orders of our politicians but everyone else on earth is automatically not a hero because they were not born here. Some people will read this and think its logical, others will feel it is a betrayal of a certain piece of propaganda based on imaginary lines but be unable to articulate why.
