Some people would ask why i dont really take my Tongan side more than my Tuvaluan. Well theres so many reasons. I speak fluent Tuvaluan, grew up in the land . I learnt all the traditions and beliefs there. Tuvalu may be small but everything you learn there are priceless . The beautiful colour of its sea, sky and trees . The people are very friendly. It may be hot but relaxing under the shade with your pillow and mat is just so unique and beautiful. The food are so delicious and only Tuvalu ladies know how to cook em better. I can go on for ages . So as a Kiwi Born but raised in Tuvalu i wouldnt change anything . I thank the Heavenly father and my parents for such an opportunity . My mum a full blooded Tongan wanted us to grow up learning the Tuvalu lingo because she wanted that to be our first language so im grateful for everything she has done . Im a proud Tuvaluan/Vaitupu and i wouldnt change anything at all . Best memories .. God bless xo
