Some perspective for today: I raced out at the Webberville CX this morning and had a rough race. I forgot my inhaler and was hit with an asthma attack about 20 minutes in and had to shut it down, recover as much as I could and race home. I was generally bummed and feeling sorry for myself when I realized how small my problems are after I learned of the passing of one of our cycling brothers due to a medical issue at a race later in the day. While I did not know Guy Nethery well, I have bumped shoulders a few times with him at the Driveway Series and had some brief conversations. We big guys tend to stick together and share a draft now and again while racing. RIP, fellow big guy! You will be missed by the cycling community.
