Some proof of my suspicion: Home ownership is strictly for wealthy class only. Middle class will try but then: ( someweblink/tdxb ) - Point being it baffles me given the thin thread between people and solid employment, people invest in homes as if they will never be forced to look for work elsewhere, taking a most certain pay cut in the process, and that their skill is marketable or that they have value, in the same place. This is not the 50s where an elevator operator might own a house, which might be an exaggeration, but yall get my point. Houses tie you down whereas employers have no intention of tying you down at the same time. You either need to be rich in new or old money or in a traditional profession, to even think about it unless your down payment is maybe 75 percent of the total cost.
