Some recent popular uprisings were hailed internationally and welcomed for the "Promise of Democracy". Subsequent democratic elections produced new governments that replaced the reigning Autocrats. Well and Good....!! But, it seems that democracy is not the same everywhere. The next popular thing that is now following Democracy, is the "Christian Genocide". This does not come as a shock, as Democracy and Genocide have both co-existed in our History texts for long now, and we need new success stories to keep them alive and petinent. Perhaps, the media is not much worried about this. Neither should I worry much, because I am good and safe...!! I only have a prayer to make : "May God Almighty help our brethren through this persecution, and may peace and humanity prevail above all...Amen".
