Some thoughts about Bitcoin as I sip my coffee... Bitcoin is more than just a currency, it is a base module for a new, voluntary economy. Bitcoin gets its value from the ways people build to use it. For example, Bitpay built merchant services that boosted Bitcoins utility and thus its value as well. Today, numerous cryptocurrency exchanges now enable people who were once separated by credit card company policies to transact seamlessly across international borders. The mining component enables anyone to engage in sound currency supply management, rather than a cabal of white-haired Washington D.C. bankers. Most importantly, instead of being controlled by the laws of men, the public ledger-book known as Bitcoin is governed by the laws of math. /endbitcoinrap
