Some thoughts on ISIS: #1) *If* what western media is - TopicsExpress

Some thoughts on ISIS: #1) *If* what western media is portraying about the group is accurate, than these people clearly require a lot of correction. While we as Muslims undoubtedly understand their frustration and anger with Western colonialism and imperialism, we must not stoop to the level of immitating the kuffar in their murder of non-combatants. As Omar Mukhtar (ra) said when asked by his companions whether or not to kill the italian POWs as the italians had done to the mujahideen, The facists are not our teachers. #2) The key word in the prior comment was *if*. We must remember that this western media and US Government were the same ones whom claimed that Saddam had WMD (they didnt), Al-Qaeda was in Iraq (they werent), that the Soviet Union was ready to march on Europe at any moment (they werent), and that North Vietnam attacked a US ship off the coast of SE Asia (they didnt). Further you will find that most of the reports coming out of the area are from Iraqi Government forces, local Yazidis and Bashar Assad forces... not exactly unbiased accounts. Be very careful here brothers. #3) Groups such as ISIS are *reactionary* groups. Extreme violence and oppression on a population will result in extremely violent and oppressive groups coming about in response. Research the Nazi partys origins and how they were so appealing to a German population whom was humiliated in WWI and subsequently massively oppressed through the treaty of Versailles. Until western colonialism through puppet oppressive regimes and the support of Israel ends, we will continue to see the rise of such groups. We might see them destroy ISIS, only to see similar groups pop-up in the aftermath. #4) Do *NOT* let secularists scare you in to believing that Islamists = ISIS. Currently in Libya there are mainstream Islamists whom are fighting for their lives in order to establish a Government whom looks to the law of Allah (swt) before invoking man-made law. The current events in the region along with possible mistakes of some mujahid groups in Libya have led to the justification of the start of a cival war by secularists against mainstream Islamists. These secularists are very-very far from Islam, and are currently 100% to blame for the eruption in violence in Libya as they completely and utterly ignored the rightfully elected GNC (whom was Islamist leaning, with the secularists threatening violence and storming the parliament when they didnt vote their policies in to law) and have formed their own secular parliament in Tobruk without the approval of the elected Government and without Islamist parties taking part. Be very careful not to fall in to the trap that Islamist = Terrorist...this is *NOT* true. #5) All of this chaos is primarily due to the break up of our Ummah in to secular nation-states based on completely arbitriary colonialist lines. Even the terms Libyan, Tunisian, Saudi, etc... are COMPLETE NON-SENSE. A properly administered caliphate is a moderating force, whereby we must as *Muslims* abide by the rule of the Caliph and Shura and therefore our allegiance is only to Allah (swt) and his messenger (saw). Until we see the day of our Caliphate rising, we will continue to have anybody and everybody claim that they are on the Haqq, that everyone else is in Jahliyya, with their said group spreading fitnah and chaos in their struggle for power. La illaha illAllah wa Muhammad arasool Allah.
