Some times doing the right thing can back fire. I save all my bottles and cans and take them to the recycling center. I usually get $15 to $20 back. Its not as much now that Ive given up Dr.Pepper. Then I started noticing all the old people who were cashing in a dollar or twos worth of cans. People who dont appear to have any money. Some are homeless. So I started giving them to the person in line who looked like they needed it the most. I grew a beard recently ... I wanted a new look. I was hoping for suave and sophisticated but I got Americas Most Wanted instead. This time ... I went to give the $16.75 voucher to a lady in one of those scooter chairs, she didnt want to take it. She kept looking at me and saying ... are you sure you dont need it more ?
