Some tips for my single brothers in the Lord. Be a disciple of Christ not only a church goer musician or leader. Find and good Christian man to mentor you. He should be able to confront you with plain truth and comfort you with fatherly love. Value purity as your highest quality. Study a carrer, learn a trade, or develope an exelent skill. It will pay of in the future. Finances dont just happen. You have to learn how to manage money correctly. Dont waste your cash on dumb unnecessary things. Learn how to have self control. Control your emocions. Know when to express them and when to remove them to make descisions. The way you treat your mother is the way you will treat your future wife. So start practicing. ( David Martinez gave me this one) Do not flirt. Be clear on the way you relate to our sisters in Christ. If you like a sister in the Lord make it clear also. Do not shake hands like a wimp. Speak clearly and look eye to eye. Dont be afraid of disagreeing, it is normal but be respecful of people with different points of view. Read all the book of proverbs and do everything it says. Even if you dont understand. Start working on financial stabillity. Now! Honor your father and mother. Be on time all the time. Being late could make you fail in life. Honor your pastors and leaders. Learn how to grill. Read at least 3 books before you get married. Finish what you start. Learn how to quit when you took a bad descision. Your car and your clothes are not what makes you. It is your character. Learn how to follow and learn how to lead. Trust God in all your plans and He will give you succes. If dad was not that good forgive Him and learn how to pray the Lords prayer.
