Some truths about climate change counter arguments welcome but not expected 1) The Earth warms and cools during different centuries. Period so, it has always been in state of change since its creation. Gotit! 2) Predictions out 100 years future is impossible with current science. These are all theories or best guesses like things we think we know about Mars, then find we are wrong later. 3) 15 years ago we had global warming but even Nasa now confirms past 11 years the Earth been cooling, not warming. So now they had to switch fear talk to Global change, as warming had been disproven. But hey, 10 years ago they swore the Earth was warming. They were as wrong then as they are wrong now. 4) Major impact global changes caused by magnetic and gravitational changes as the North and South poles switch locations. Bet you did not know this; huh! The poles have switched several times already and will again, but soon so dont pack to move. 5) In last 100 years only few inches in change on costal ocean heights has been measured. 6) Ice is melting in North Pole, but increasing faster in South Pole. These changes are normal through Earths life whether man is here or not. 7) I am sure you heard of the Ice age if you only saw the movie, right! For more learned people the Earth has actually been through 3 yes 3 Ice ages during time when man did not exist on this Earth! Wow, Global climate change on mammoth level, without man or any coal plants. Hmm? 8) Coal has the lowest cost per energy made of any fuel on Earth, which helps a lot to provide for strong economy. Cheap Energy and does not require billions if tax dollars in research, grants, to turn profit like solar and wind. 9) It is so cheap and available everywhere that 1200 new coal plants are now scheduled to be built in other countries around the world. In poor 3rd world countries that cant just print money like we do, it is their only way to get energy they can afford. All countries are not rich. 10) Finally, America could stop all, all coal plants today; and only have maximin of 3% impact on Global carbon emissions, because nearly all emissions are not only being made but increasing daily from other countries who are not going to destroy their economies because of the what US does now or in the future. Remember carbon pollution from all countries effects world wide air quality and they will not listen to us. Particularly now when Obama has alienated and lost trust, respect, from every country in the world. Add that to even pro environmentalist claim coal regulation changes will take at least 20 to 50 years to see any impact do to time & cost to effect changes world wide. Finally, ask any climate change expert to give you specifics like exactly what change will we get for X number of coal plants taken off line? They cant ! Its like someone saying we do not have a plan to stop an asteroid large enough to end all life on Earth. Which by the way had higher chance prediction wise of happening then massive climate change that man just can not control. ----------------- Climate scientists have sometimes warned that it could prove impossible to avoid high levels of global warming unless the world stops building new coal-fired plants.
