Some underground artists think the best way to get known is to get a bunch of tracks out there asap. Reality is, best way to make fans is to take your time and make songs that are your very best work and have a quality mix. If youre getting a mix done for $15 per song on your whole mix-tape, but no ones feeling the quality on the tracks, wouldnt you agree it makes more sense to Spend $40 per mix and release less tracks? You want to get consistent listeners, and if your a beginner that is very very difficult to do. People gonna go through their iPod, and i have to be able to compete with big artists. they have the option Eminem or Daniac. My song has to be pretty damn good to get played on someones ipod regularly. Getting Quality mixes is the first step to having a better chance at people replaying your song.
