Some will disagree I know,what seems fair to me is this; -Businesses that are corporate should be mandated to begin the wage increase yesterday. -Wage increase should be based on a regional cost of living...eg;NYC is twice as expensive to live in than Schenectady. -Once we are all seeing the economic uplift from previously said action,private businesses need to follow suit,in increments. This applies to all sectors. -Finally, we may sit back and enjoy the presence of equity and fairness among our fellow peeps...everybody wins. And that is what I call a trickle down effect :-) Stand with your fellow peeps who wish for and NEED a cost of living wage increase. Speak up until its done. Our society has benefitted from the working poor for long enough.In a society as rich as ours,there is no excuse for such large populations of disenfranchised people...
