Someday, when my children are old enough to understand the logic - TopicsExpress

Someday, when my children are old enough to understand the logic that motivates a parent, Ill tell them. . . I loved you enough to bug you about where you were going with whom, what interests you most and what time you would be home. I loved you enough to patiently wait for what it will make of you, the result of the tasks I assigned to you, hoping that you will learn the ropes of living, for your development, betterment and future, as based on my experiences... for we can never share what we dont have. I loved you enough to endure the pain of seeing you do things by your own in spite of the privilege to make it easy for you. Hoping that you will soon understand that I made it so not to burden you but to make you a strong, independent, responsible, God-fearing and reliable person. And most of all... I loved you enough to painstakingly say NO to some of your requests, even if you will hate me for it, no matter how I desired to give in to all of your request, to make you happy, but I have to... because some of your request are harmful to you. Yes I know that there are moments that you hate me, for loving you and for doing those things which for now you still dont understand. And all I can say... from the bottom of my heart... Thank you for the opportunity of being your parent, and the chance to have you as my children. God bless you.
