Someone asked how they could help and besides fundraising (which is an ongoing need), I said that we need someone knowledgeable in fencing to help us do some maintenance on the deer yard in the next couple of weeks. We thought we had someone lined up but thats not panning out. Basically, its a 6 foot high chain link fence that needs some work and we also need to install a dog barrier around the outside.....which will be some kind of low garden fencing to keep these stray dogs back off the fence to the deer yard. Im open to suggestions in how we do things with the fencing. Im really good at the work with the DEER......but not so much when it comes to the deer FENCING! I know what needs to be accomplished but not the details as to what type of fencing, whats the cheapest, the parts list, etc. We will ALSO be creating a whole NEW deer yard in a new spot with a wooden fawn barn, etc. So if anyone knows a fencing company that might adopt us as a charitable cause (and theres lots of ways for them to assist with this), please tell them about us and our work and see if there is any interest on their part to get more info. We cant accomplish what we do alone. We need to network (via all of you) to get to the people who can assist us in this work! THANKS!!!
