Someone asked me tonight to describe how my parents would treat my boyfriend, and I never really thought about it in words until tonight. My Dad, without a shadow of a doubt, will always think of me as his little girl and would kill someone if he hurts me, but my Mom is just the sort of person to welcome you with open arms and cook all your favorite dishes and forget she has a daughter for a while. I think this pretty much sum up most parents though.
