Someone asked today on a group Im in about Thermos and how to get the maximum warmth and time from them. We currently have the Laptop Lunch brand and have another 2 brands coming in soon. If you have a good thickness and quality one the best way to keep the food warm for longer is to boil your jug and place the water inside and close the lid for 10-20 minutes (20 would be better). Heat up your food just above the temperature you normally would, 60 degrees is safe so 65-70 would be the best or just very hot to touch if you dont have a temperature gauge. Then open the lid quickly remove the water fill with your lovely warm lunch and place the lid straight back on. A good brand will keep the temperature for 4 hours then drop approx. 1 degree per hour after that. You want to keep your food above 60 when eating it to keep it in the safe zone according to Australian Food Standards. I love a warm lunch.........YUM YUM. If you are in the market we have some Thermos Jars in stock and more variety coming. trendyliltreats.au/laptop-lunches/
