Someone asked which nations this mother of mine visited. Communist Poland and Soviet Russia were among them – she rightly maintained a little ‘old’ lady can go places and do things no man can. The God moments were many. She would go to the heartland of India on an Ox cart and always wear traditional Indian dress. For health sake she would eat dates as she maintained they were a meal in themselves and would never be a burden on her hosts. England, USA, Canada, Iceland, France, Sweden, nations of Africa and South America, the list goes on. For a little time she travelled with the group under the leadership of Rev. Stan Coates, but most of her trips were on her own!
