Someone asked why I am wearing gisi-gisi and luma na shorts (jogging pants nga giputlan) na gikan man daw ko sa America. Lisud sab mag gown ko sa balay. While another said I look fat. I do look fat. What being pregnant with a distended belly, duh. Lisud sab mag diet ko nga buntis. The same person asked why my hair is too short and not rebonded. I really dont give a shit what people think. I dress clothes for my own comfort and not to parade to be admired. I also wear my hair for comfort and for practical reasons. Another said that my skin hasnt transformed white. Lagum man gud ko gianak ug di ko magpableach because I love my skin. That in my husbands eyes I am beautiful is just a bonus. I dont need to be beautiful for people. I dont need any validation for anything I wear or how I look. I am me. I can be beautiful or not and the standard is mine, not other peoples.
