Someone broke into the Seventh Day Adventist Church on South Hwy 41 by breaking two doors. Although nothing of value was stolen they did cause $1100 in damages. Deputy Bloom responded to Angelique Peterson’s residence and placed her under arrest for an active Violation of Probation warrant. She requested a bag with some personal effects be brought with her which was granted. Upon inventorying the bag at the jail Corrections officers located a small amount of cocaine inside. She has the added charges of possession of Cocaine and Introduction of Contraband. In the early morning hours units responded to Pine Grove Mobile Home Park in reference to a robbery. It was reported an unidentified white male subject robbed the victim at gun point of an Acer Touch Screen Laptop. The investigation is ongoing Someone broke into a home on Olive Road in the Shores area and stole electronics valued at $365. They also caused $3600 worth of damage to property inside the home and damage to the home as well. Units responded to a hospital in reference to a person who was being treated for potential life threatening burns to his face and torso. The subject and his mother gave inconsistent statements on how he burned himself. Deputies responded to the subject’s home and observed broken glass and precursors to make meth. Major Crimes and DEU responded and the investigation is ongoing. Deputies responded to the 4000 block of SE 66th ST in reference to a disturbance. Upon arrival victim stated she had a verbal altercation with a friend, Lester Smith but everything was okay. While leaving the residence the deputy heard the victim screaming.
