Someone called me fake. LOL. Such an adolescent insult. I probably am fake. There is likely to be something about me that isnt genuine. Despite people constantly promoting the idea that they are individuals with posts about walking their own path and going against the grain, most people prove to be programmed to fit in in some way. Most of you like who is popular to like and hate who is popular to hate, and even hate who you used to like when it becomes popular to hate them. A guy who will happily admit he has seen every single Arnold Schwarzenegger and/or Vin Diesel movie ever made will turn around and say that they hate Megan Fox because shes a terrible actress. Oh, youre not a follower at all...! Probably the stupidest thing Ive ever been criticized for on here is sharing Dragonball Z posts. Yeah, they never get any likes and no one knows why Im into that stuff. Thats okay, I post that stuff because I like it. I could give half a turd what other people think of it, or think of me for liking it. But sometimes people get on my case about it. Why am I into that? Why do I want people to know I am into that? If its not the popular sports team or Game of Thrones I shouldnt admit that I enjoy it. Some of these people, friends of mine, are self proclaimed nerds and outcasts, but they only don those titles because they think it makes them sound interesting or like they belong to something. I like DBZ. I have also caught all 151 original Pokémon. I can name the 13 original members of GI Joe, real names and codenames. I can do the same with every X-Men character, plus tell you what year they debuted. I can beat the original Double Dragon on arcade with one quarter. Does that sound impressive? Of course it doesnt. Ill never be able to use that to make money or win any awards or get a hot girl. I did that for me. But I have been called fake because I like sports, because I like the Star Wars prequels, and because I have never been to a convention. I guess I just cant like the stuff I want to like and be real.
