Someone entered an unlocked shed in the 8300 block of SE 158th Place Summerfield and stole $580 worth of tools. They also stole a 5x8 utility trailer valued at $700 from the yard. A vacant home located in the 23,000 block of Seacliffe Avenue in Dunnellon was broken into by someone breaking out a bedroom window. Upon entry someone stole a stove valued at $250. Someone broke into a home in the 1600 block of N.W. 56th Ave in Ocala Ridge by forcing open the front door. Once inside they stole electronics valued at $1000 A water heater valued at $300 was stolen from a home in the 2000 block of NE 98th St in Anthony after someone broke in by breaking out the glass on the rear door. A home in the 17,000 of NE 22 CT Citra was broken into and someone stole a television valued at $50.00. They also caused $150 worth of damage to the front door. Several units responded to the 17,000 block of NE 24 Ave Citra in reference to a disturbance and a report of a shots being fired. The investigation revealed that 51 year old Dennis Cheshire got into a verbal argument with the victim and pushed her to the ground causing her to hit her head on a vehicle He then grab the victim by her hair and force her into the home and refused to let her leave. Dennis then forced her into the bedroom where he retrieved a .38 cal. and fired a shot into the ceiling. Dennis is a convicted felon; also there is an active Domestic Violence Injunction.
