Someone posted a comment in a picture of Miss Colombia being crowned, saying, Half the judges were hispanic so you knew Miss USA or Miss Colombia was going to win. As for all the love Miss Jamaica is getting from FB fans - she is indeed a beautiful woman but her answer to the FB question cost her the title. The judges love the peace on earth crap that contestants spew at these events. Citing an athelete and a reggae singer was a huge blunder. Reminds me of the 1992 event in Bangkok where Miss India was looking like a surefire winner until the final question. Remember she was asked what would be the first thing she would do if she were elected leader of her country. The other finalists talked about peace, poverty, human rights etc and Miss India answered - I would build a track and field stadium cos India doesnt have many. Yep - a country with over 500 million people living in poverty needed a stadium for people to RUN in!!! This cost her the title and I believe Miss Jamaica blundered the same way. Sorry guys - beauty alone does not guarantee wins anymore. You have to be able to speak intelligently too.
