Someone posted this on an Intermittent Fasting with LCHF group. I saw an interesting article yesterday about artificial sweeteners where they tested rats with sugar or with aspartame etc., and found that the ones with artificial sweeteners had HIGHER blood glucose levels than the ones given actual sugar. Id heard before that artificial sweeteners can spike insulin but never been able to find a reference for it. Also on a side note I heard that BCAAs can spike insulin for those weight lifters among us. I cant find the article I read but if youre interested heres another article on it. What do you guys use to sweeten your food? If anything? Do you think that using artificial sweeteners can kick you out of ketosis?
