Somerset County played host to group of Wounded Warriors today at the Clam Bake. A large procession escorted them to the Clam Bake, starting at Perdue Stadium, accompanied by the Command vehicles from several Somerset County Fire companies. In Princess Anne, we set up our Fire Company Tower truck with a very large American flag suspended over Rt 13. The Marion Fire Company had trucks and personnel lined up on the side of Rt 413. The Crisfield Fire Dept. had their tower truck set up with a large flag suspended beneath. Those young wounded veterans come from all over our great nation, but they will always remember their trip to Somerset County.
