Something BIG is happening. First Syrian FM Muallem was in Sochi - TopicsExpress

Something BIG is happening. First Syrian FM Muallem was in Sochi to meet with Putin and Lavrov, then Putin goes to Turkey and announces THIS: Novak later confirmed that Vladimir Putin personally ordered for the South Stream project to be mothballed, and its existing facilities to be repurposed for the new Turkish pipeline. The new project will use the Russian pipelines and pumping stations intended for South Stream, but redirect the underwater Black Sea pipeline to Turkey, instead of Bulgaria. rt/news/210511-russia-turkey-gas-pipeline/ Does this mean that Turkey is pulling out of the Syrian regime change coalition once and for all and has finally pivoted into the non-Western orbit, abandoning its Euro-Atlantic dream (more rightly described as a nightmare by this point)? And how does this bode for the Kurdish Card -- will the US activate it? Or will the US try to chum up with Turkey now so it can co-opt the transit route and turn it into a huge Ukraine vis-a-vis the blackmail potential? Heres what I think in brief: Turkey made its move, it realized that the Kurdish Card would be played one way or another (wittingly or unwittingly) and it staked its future on Eurasian integration, not European. Say goodbye to ANY hope whatsoever for joining the EU. This might be one of the biggest moves towards multipolarity weve ever seen. Full analysis will be published tomorrow on Sputnik News The plot thickens...
