Something I have been meaning to say for ages and now feels like - TopicsExpress

Something I have been meaning to say for ages and now feels like the right time. I would never put down another psychic/healer but more and more I have been hearing horror stories of some very unrepeatable practices. I am not perfect by any means and this is not aimed at anybody in particular so please dont be offended however I think it is time people were more aware of what to look for in a healer/reader. I have decided to put together a bit of a summary of what to look for in a healer or reader. The best way to find one is via word of mouth, hearing of the experiences of others is the best way to know that you are getting what you are looking for. Having said that if you are drawn to someone then by all means give them a try. A reader/healer should ALWAYS be upfront with what a session will cost you and what to expect from a reading. There should be NO hidden costs, unexpected costs or anything which isnt agreed to before the meeting. Having said that this is not to say that something else may be needed after the reading (example healing, products etc.) but you should always be given the choice first and have time to think about it. You should leave the reading/healing feeling HEALED! Sometimes you may feel a little emotional, especially if something has been brought to the surface or you have been in contact with a deceased loved one however you should not leave feeling negative. If a healer/reader tells you that there is something beyond their expertise they should be able to refer you to somebody who can help you. Most of all if you are uneasy or unsure then go with your gut. Discuss it with the healer/reader and perhaps you can work it out. (its normal to be a bit nervous especially on your first reading or healing) however if alarm bells are ringing then run! A reader/healer should NEVER tell you anything which does not serve your higher purpose. For example if they see something which you need to address. Negative or alarming messages are not the norm. I would like to say that MOST people in the spiritual industry are honourable and this is a minority of experiences and again this is not aimed at anybody in particular I just have been meaning to do it for ages. Im sure there are other things which I have not thought of but I think you get the general idea.
