Something I have penned down. Feedback is required. Here goes: The flame burnt low, sparks no longer emitted from it. The clocked circled its forlorn road over and over again. The wind turned the burnt pages. I scrambled through the turmoil in my soul, rummaging through the leak that was spilling out time. The first memory was the most painful, because it marked the beginning of the burnt book. Rainbows were replaced by the River Styx. A salty drop of water fell from my eyelids onto the ground. Defeat had always been a habit. Goodbyes, an accidental hobby. The gift that you gave me, was unprecedented and fed the lunatic in me. Never had the skies seemed so grey,the ocean so calm and the trees so withered. Autumn had fallen upon the wilderness of my world. Laughter echoed through my mind. Happy, cheerful laughter. The smile, that drove me crazy, did drive me crazy. So crazy that I could not wash it away. Locked up inside the bittersweet memory, I lay on my bed, soaked in her memories.
