Something Ive been thinking about lately and I think my mindset - TopicsExpress

Something Ive been thinking about lately and I think my mindset has gone through some changes about it. The large number of 300s/800s. I know that anymore it really isnt anything special to shoot either one as people are doing it all the time and sometimes lower averages that youd never expect it from. I dont get excited when I shoot one nor do I feel others should be excited for me. But, I think its time that the higher bowlers stop bashing people who post honor scores often. Some people act like its something to be ashamed of. When I think about it. It just shows that that person goes out and tries every night even if its a meaningless league. Couple weeks ago I shot about a 650 set, clearly not good for me but a guy on the other team was saying amazing things about me. Like he cant miss love watching you bowl man. I didnt have the heart to say I was bowling bad. Then last Thursday after I shoot 300 many people enjoyed watching congratulated me asked how many times Ive done it. They then said theyve been bowling for however many years and didnt have one. Some people want to be better but cant. Some people are good with no mind in it. What Im getting at is I feel totally blessed to be able to go out every night do what I absolutely love doing and have fun. Not just that I am proud of every 300 and 800 Ive ever shot. Including any tournament success. Im blessed to have made the friends I have and provided a short entertainment to others not as fortunate as me. To have MassReaction ProShop cater to all my needs at any time, a girlfriend that sits at the bowling alley for hours and hours without complaint and a backer to help me with the financial side and lastly being on staff with an excellent company in Brunswick. Im by no means the best bowler out there but I enjoy the game of bowling. Even if shooting 300/800 is easy, I still want to do it every time!
