Something Ive seen often lately that has become one of my biggest *pet peeves: When someone expresses that they either need help, or doesnt ask for help but infers that they are having a hard time, then a nice person(s) steps up and offers to help or give them what they need and they do not respond with a thank you of any kind. Nobody is ever obligated to help you. If they do, you should really consider using your manners and showing appreciation. I understand that once you get what you want, you probably (hopefully) thank that person, but an upfront thank you is always nice too. *pet peeve is an odd saying if you ask me. :)
