Something a little different for you all. I have decided to spread the love and give you some other lovely riders to follow. I have lots of interesting riders to share with you over the next few weeks and will be making a list on my website with further info and links, but for now here are my first 5 picks... Susie White a 16yo event rider based in Northumberland. Susie began eventing on a once-in-a-lifetime horse, Heaven Eyes, She introduced her to eventing and did so very well giving her the eventing bug! She took Susie from her first ever BE90 to winning a Novice section to her first CIC*. She now competes a very special homebred self produced horse at BE100 and is hoping to do some Novices next season. Susies main aim for 2015 is to qualify and compete at both the CICYH* at Osberton or to represent the Scottish U18 region at Weston Park CCIJ*. She has dreamt of making the Young Horse finals for two years now with Seventh Heaven (Dids), however both years they have narrowly missed qualification. A very exciting young rider for you to follow up the levels... https://facebook/susiewhiteeventing Bonnie Fishburn has been eventing 14 years and has climbed the ladder from a non horsey background to having a lovely yard, arena and lorry. Bonnie has three horses she events. Two of which were homebred and produced. She has been placed at two International 1* events and competed at Intermediate and 2* level. Bonnie is also a keen riding club member and two of her proudest moments were in 2010 and 2012 when San Francisco II took the British Riding Clubs Open Horse Trials National Championships. Another proud moment was being part of the 2012 Open Horse Trials National Team Champions, in 2013 part of the Open Showjumping National Team Champions and in 2014 part of the Open Dressage Team Champions. Next year she is aiming to get her top horse back out on the circuit after injury this season and to enjoy her two homebreds at hopefully BE Novice level. A very serious talented rider for you to follow with exciting homebred horses... https://m.facebook/BonnieFishburnEventing?ref=bookmark. A very exciting up and coming young rider with lots of talent and amazing self produced horses for you to follow... facebook/TeamCollinsEventing Ferne Fairfull a 21yo rider from Edinburgh. Ferne bought her current horse Ziva as a 5 year old warmblood at just 2 years old after feeling sorry for her (she was quite the ugly duckling you could say!) She is home produced and they have just qualified for the winter regionals, next year she is aiming to qualify for the regionals then head to the petplan festival and summer regionals, Fernes long term aim is to produce Ziva to PSG level and beyond. Always so rewarding to follow a rider producing her own horses to such a standard with high hopes for the future... https://facebook/fernefairfullamourevaz Kate Sanderson is based in the North East of the UK. In 2014 alone and 10 BE outings, 5 of them have been in Top 2 placings mainly due to her totally amazing Supercob! She has had numerous wins over the past 18months in Eventing and qualified for many regional finals. Kates biggest achievement to date was competing at the Badminton Grassroots finals in May, where she pulled out a cracking 23 dressage, clear SJ and up to the XC were lying in second or third place! Sadly three from home a gutting mistake happened picking up 20 pen, however the experience itself was incredible and one I will never forget! Kate now has an amazing new member to the team, Stuart a 4yo ISH who finished 15th at the 4yo Burghley Finals in September. He will be produced for ages classes and with thee hopes of qualifying for the 5yo Championships and 5yo BYEH.
