Something happened on Sunday which really boggled my mind, I asked - TopicsExpress

Something happened on Sunday which really boggled my mind, I asked myself many unanswered questions, so Im hoping that by sharing your views and experiences on this matter youll help me understand. A friend and I went for a buffet supper @Exploreres. A few tables away from ours, there was what seemed like a happy family: dad, mom and three children. My friend alerted me to the fact that the guy was staring at her in a strange way. We just laughed about it and minded our business. As we went to the buffet table for dessert, the guy jumped from his chair and followed us, he cornered my friend and asked for her number. She ignored him and we all went to our respective tables. When we were done and leaving the premises, the guy left his family and followed us out! He pleaded with my friend to give him her number, my friend chided him for disrespecting his wife and children. I stole a glance at the wife and she seemed disturbed, I was hurt on her behalf. This incident isnt unique though, there are scores of married or committed men out there who flirt and cheat. What I want to understand is, 1. should stereo-typical views like men are hunters, they cant love just one person etc be socially acceptable as normal? 2. Do some settle down for security reasons, as in Ive got a wife, she takes care of the household but Ill do as I please with other women out there? 3. Why do people get attracted to other people when theyve already chosen their ones? 4. As a married wife, how would you feel if your husband hit on another woman in front of you and your children? 5. Are there any faithful men and how do you tell? Ive tagged some of my married friends because Id love to hear their views in this regard, but anyone can add their say...lets get real..
