Something really weird happened today while Kelly was in the house herself. Someone apparently from Scottish Gas asked for Ali Davis and said she was here to read the meter, her notes said it was situated in the hall, Kelly said she didnt know where the meter was but it was definitely not in the hall, the woman asked if there were any meters upstairs and Kelly showed her the boiler in the kitchen when she said no this wasnt it she left a card then left. Please beware as she asked for Ali by name and hes not even the account holder nor do we have our gas supplied by Scottish Gas and she was feeding Scooby with dog treats out of her pocket. Kelly didnt think to ask for ID as the woman had on a fleece with Scottish Gas on it and Kelly wouldnt have known we werent with that gas supplier anyway. Thankfully Kelly didnt let her or Scooby out of her sight during this time. I called Scottish Gas who used to be our supplier till December but as both accounts are closed there was no need for anyone to call to take readings, their words were sounds a bit dodgy please pass on as I would hate to think of this happening to an elderly person who may be caught off guard
