Something that I, La Lindeaux, saw earlier today. I saw a restaurant with a sign out front that read Cuban Foods. I went in there and told them that unless the owner was a person by the name of Cuban Food, then the sign was all wrong. I then explained to them that an apostrophe indicates a possessive. If all they wanted was a plural, they could have just left the apostrophe off, and have been totally correct. I am surprised that the manufacturer of the sign didnt know that, and/or tell them about it before they built the sign. They actually had the same misspelling on their uniforms also. Their reaction to my explanation was like uh, okay. I mean, geez! Dont nobody know nuthin no more???
