Something that was really bugging me was people putting up things about there Sheikh and just affiliating with there tareeqa and nothing else.. I was really getting troubled till I came accross a video shared by ustad Maruf Ahmed it was a video of Habib Omar and he was speaking about Sufism an how doing this stuff is the opposite of Sufism.. Now I know people love there sheikh theres nothing wrong with that but there has to be a limit for everything.. Our Sheikhs have a purpose they are not there to be celebrities for us to see when ever they come to the uk, or for us to put continuous post about them on facebook, or any social media.. Its quiet frankly become a joke.. It has to be stopped, yea you love them we all do but show your love by putting into practise what they tell you to do.. For the people who only associate with people from there own tareeqah and only go to speeches of students of there Sheikh or only go to the gatherings of there fellow Murids please, seriously slap your self so you wake up! Islam doesnt teach this, Islam teaches unity, did the Sahaba do this after there prophet? Did the tabieen do this after the the time of the 4 khalifas..
