Something to consider about that mean old lion seeking someone he may devour. Taken from Job 4:10-11 "The mighty lion, king of the beasts, roars mightily, but when he’s toothless he’s useless— No teeth, no prey—and the cubs wander off to fend for themselves." The Message Jesus said ALL authority in heaven and on earth belongs to Him. How much authority does that leave the devil, who like the old lion in the above verses has been rendered useless by The Victory of Jesus death and resurrection of which we as believers are partakers. It is in our lack of knowledge of Christ and what He has done for us we fall prey to a toothless old lion. We are seated with Father in heavenly places in the Son; the roaring old lion is far beneath our feet. simple yet how many times do we fall prey to a loud roar that has no real bite, unless we fall for his deceit?
