Something to think about it... :( Notice: Today 36 Kenyans have been butchered by the terrorist group al Shabaab in the northern part of the country. As the plague of terrorism is increasing across Africa, the role of the ivory trade must be looked at. Terrorism and ivory are linked and one fuels the other. This is a fact that cannot be ignored. The ivory trade is no longer just a severe blow to the environment and the economy. Even those who do not care about elephants or wildlife, must acknowledge that this illegal trade is helping fund one of the biggest threats to the worlds citizens today. It is a humanitarian issue as much as it is a conservation one. Killing the ivory trade is not just saving a species.
