Sometime in 2003 while a college student, on my way to uhuru park,I was tempted to buy a charity sweepstake card in one of their shops that was situated near parliament-intercon round about. I scratched the first ticket and it showed I had won sh10 which was equivalent to the cost and decided to go for another which saw me win sh300. When I showed the man u sold it to me,he said I could only redeem sh200 because I had not paid him before scratching it. We quaralled as I insisted that I wanted my all cash and he handed me four 50 sh notes which I declined to take.My shouting at him attracted a crowd and everybody who came wanted to hear what happened.I kept repeating telling them but some walked away while others advised me to take the 200.Others just watched as tears gathered in my eyes as I felt I had been robbed.300 was alot of money and could see me through for three weeks... The crowd attracted police officers who were passing by and came to inquire what was happening
