Sometimes God blesses us with an extra special service that must be talked about. This week, my family and I were serving in Kansas. On Tuesday evening, during the invitation, the pastor said that they were not ending the invitation just yet. He shared his heart with the people that they had not been serious about fulfilling their mission as a church. He stated that I had encouraged many to go to him during the invitation but that it was time for him to go to me. In tears, he walked off the platform and embraced me and cried out to the Lord to refocus and reset his heart on His mission, since he was not living and leading like he should. He proceeded to encourage the church that it was a new day and things were going to change. It was a powerful moment! I pray that many other pastors and evangelists will follow in this pastors footsteps and ask God to bring us to our knees. This was raw, authentic, and real! God has given us His purpose and mission for our lives. Its time to fulfill it!
