Sometimes I ask myself many Questions some of which I fail to attain the response. When I look at the world, I wonder how God created it and how He designed its peoples. The World is amazing, and so are its dwellers. Okay the white man divided it by creating the ideology of CONTINENT, so that one race will be identified as ASIANS, AFRICAN, AMERICAN, and EUROPEANS. I dont know whether this was Gods prior purpose. Anyway, it was done and I think the process is a physical one. Right now, cultures and Kingdoms are doing all what it takes to spread their cultures and traditions to other states. First, the Western Culture is spreading like wild fire in the skirts of Africa. When I was growing nga when you sing Kafeeros song, your fellow students will say Laba Fala. Many would forge to be like Britney Spear, Jennifer Lopez etc etc. I remember I loved Herman and Kafeeros music, I had never loved the western life-style, so they told me to stir up and be modern. Then I asked myself, is behaving like Europeans means to be Modern? Sorry to say this but, some who were telling me to be modern never finished up with the education which they so proud of and thought would make them a bit more modern, and right now I can say they are not modern the way they dress, the music they listen to etc etc. Secondly, Asia. Asian cultures are also on a move in Africa. Now ladies (African) like Asian dresses the likes of Sarees etc etc. They say their cultural dresses are traditional and so they would like to be modern. Some eveb feel ahsamed of putting them in pulic Mbu bandaba batya nga nnyambala Gomesi, Ebyo byabakadde. Putting on a GOMESI would be the reason why #Namwanje should be Happy and Proud to be an African - Ugandan - Muganda woman. Fellow Africans, we need to support our Cultures, our traditions. The cultures you are supporting makes us lose the gist in ours. Kafeero once said in his music that Buli adibaga olulimi lwe mukafiiri I would also add on my voice to his and say Buli adibaga his cultures and desires the foreign one, is a traitor, a pagan. We need to be African wherever we are, thats when the world would appreciate us as Africans. Even Our Leaders should make us Proud to be Africans. Let each one of us, do whatever he does, to promote his culture WHEREVER you are,... Ronie Kabwama you will bare me witness in this cause. A country like India for instance... When I came here, You cannot know between an educated person and an illiterate one. Why, they are speak their LOCAL languages. They all put on their local Mundu dress. Malayalam and Hindi and other Indian Languages are Official. They are not slaves of the English Language. But Uganda,..... Hmmmm. At first I thought what a people, but they told me why do we have to study in a foreign language as if we have no language? But Look at Uganda, even making one of the 52 languages we have a NATIONAL HERITAGE LANGUAGE becomes a problem!!!!!!!
