Sometimes I can enjoy being at home every day and being able to tinker in the garden or be around the kids, but other times I find it hard to enjoy the two hour time limit I have with activities (including traveling) because of my having cauda equina syndrome (read back injury). It feels like house arrest after a sort, and it makes it hard to enjoy the successes of loved ones.. Some days are harder than others.
