Sometimes I dont know the reason why the universe has placed me at a certain place at a certain time. My operation was scheduled months ago and I should have been discharged yesterday. Tonight an elderly and disorientated patient in my ward was playing up. I overhear the commotion and a nurse mumble I am so close to giving up. He had no idea he was in a hospital. As I have my entire room to myself, I approach the nurse and ask to move him into my room where I can give him some comfort and company. All parties are happy. My universe works in mysterious ways for me. True Story ... ps. If he snores though, I will hurt him and blame the medication I am on :P
