Sometimes I feel like I should have horror movie music playing in the house throughout the day. Like when the cat is making this weird scurrying sound and I know he has brought something in the house and I have to look around the corner to see what it is. Or today, when I was scrubbing the counters and sweeping the crumbs into my hand. I looked at my hand when I was done and the threw the crumbs across the room because at some point I had swept a scorpion into my hand.
