Sometimes I just cannot seal my lips... At Moms doctor yesterday where two men were watching news coverage about the Paris terror attack. One had just rambled on forever about his retiring from the military having served 20+ years including in Vietnam. He looked at the television and said, That is the problem with religion. It kills people. I had listened to them laud Hanoi Jane Fonda... and I just had to say something. Very politely :) I turned around and said, And when is the last time a Methodist flew an airplane into two towers and killed 3000 people? ...and Did they shout about doing the Paris assassination in the name of Jesus Christ? I must have missed that part. They looked at me like I had NUTS etched on my forehead. One said, It is religion. I said, These people are doing exactly what their book tells them to do. He said, I dont believe that at all. My response, Maybe you should do some research and see the difference in the books. Suddenly silence reigned in the area around me... and I turned to do my Bible study :)
