Sometimes I just have to laugh at myself & thank God that He made me a logical thinker. At the last minute before bed, I realize that I havent loaded up Tylers stander to deliver to school tomorrow. (Its a HUGE piece of equipment that he uses to stand) I wheel this behemoth out of the living room, out the door, down the wheel chair ramp & out into the driveway. Not only is it HUGE, but its heavy & very awkward to maneuver. I finally get it where it will fit into my van when I realize that one of the arms where the tray goes is stuck up. This thing barely clears the top of my van when its compacted down, so theres no way it will fit. I start cranking on this thing for like 5 minutes until my hands want to bleed with no luck of the arm moving. I dont have any WD40 or PB Blaster, so I stood there for a second to get a game plan together... Lightbulb moment when I realize my Dad just brought me an 85 piece Stanley tool set just for me. I go & get it. I get the ratchet & right socket together & start taking the arm apart when I realize I need some pliers. There arent any in my tool set, so I have to go look for my other tool set that was a Christmas gag gift. (When I break it out, yall know Im about to do some real work because theres like 3 tools in it & 12 sizes of mini screw drivers. I can totally fix your sunglasses if you need me to. Lol) After taking the arm apart, I finally get this thing loaded in my van. Thankfully, theres always more than one way to skin at cat. Day lord. That was a chore. I didnt know Id be changing out a transmission in the driveway tonight. Thanks again, Dad for my real tool set. Theyre not Snap-Ons, but theyll do. Daddys: Teach your daughters how to use tools, change oil, change a flat tire etc etc. One day theyll need it! Ok. Off to bed. Thank Goodness Tomorrow is Friday.
