Sometimes I just want to scream at the top of my lungs how grateful I am for the life I have. I am coming up on my 4th year of full-time teaching, Matthew and I have owned our home for 2 years, we have one beautiful little girl, and the Lord continues to bless us with opportunities as well as trials. The Lord has asked us to grow and continues to ask us to grow by offering us trials of faith as well as tender mercies to guide us along our way to an eternal family with Him. Sometimes I spend so much time thinking about the hardships in my life, or worrying about being happy about the good things because there are many who want what I have and for whatever reason do not have it. But today I am just going to be grateful that I have what I have and humble myself to know that Lord will sometimes with hold what I think I "need" only to give me what he knows I truly need to ensure my eternal salvation.
